Dear Daeya.org members,

we are proud to announce the start of a new categorie of wallpapers, the Widescreens. The first few wallpapers were designed for members of the boards only, due to the lack of any widescreen options on the official website (in other words, you need to register to view them because we did not create a widescreen category in Daeya.org Version 0.2. However, this will be featured in Daeya.org Version 0.3). We hope that you will enjoy these backgrounds, specially those of you who are using laptops with HDTV resolutions.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause to the general public.

The first wallpaper bundle will consist of 5 widescreen backgrounds featuring Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children characters.
One new wallpaper will be released each day, for a total of 5 in the next 5 days.The reason why we are not releasing them all at once is because they carry special meanings that we would like members to think about. :wink:

I know I'm soundiing somewhat chummy even though I have only been here for a few days, but I feel I have been a part of this forum since the day it was created. I will take time in my life in the next few days to personally thank you for your hardwork and dedication to this forum by posting my message in the threads where these wallpapers will be featured. Again many thank yous for your perserverance. I am eager to view your Daedications.

Daeya has let me in on this project for a short while now. In fact, I'm helping write the introduction to a few of the characters. There's also a recurring theme in all five widescreen wallpaper. When they are all released, try to see if you can find out what the theme is. :smile:

Needless to say, I was impressed beyond words when Daeya showed me all of the wallpapers. When she informed me of what she had in mind for them the following day, I couldn't help but grin at her thoughtfulness.

Let me just say this... Daeya, in my eyes, has no equal. Her uniqueness and her freakishly amazing skills are what makes me admire and respect her so much. :smile:

With that said, I hope everybody enjoys these widescreen wallpapers! :amused:

IT's my pleasure to make wallpapers. Thank you RinRinEva for such beautiful words. I haven't had a chance to talk with you recently, but I'll catch up one of these days :blush: .

These wallpapers are not simple ones. For example, the orb is actually a materia (hope you guys will notice that they are the colors of the 5 materias in FF7). Plus, we used color psychology to match it with what we believe will be the most influencial characters in FF7:AC. From that, we combine everything and daedicate it to each "type" of member on the boards.

Daemon is to thank for the thread creations and original input and Jerzideva for the daedications (and yes, the word daedication is © D.org :amazed: :bigsmile: ).

After I first saw the wallpaper..I remember telling Jer how I just looked at all of the tiny details and held my breath. It's awesome Daeya!! Kudos to you for the hard work!!! :bigsmile:

These two are amazing! There so nice, I'll make sure to read each of the themes after. I love them both, I'm anxious to see how the others will look like. I didn't realize the circle was materia tho.

I have been having a hard time viewing these wps, but now that I have finally gotten to see them I am truely in awe of your combined beyond amazing skills. Each one is distinct yet linked together and well thought out. Though I have to admit I'm very partial to the Kadaj Wp. :love: but then you probably guessed that already. :laugh:

With this Sephiroth Widescreen Wallpaper concludes the Widescreen Première of Daeya.org. This finale was planned with Sephiroth bringing the end of this set because he is most likey THE most sought after character of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children but also the least shown.

Daeya is currently very hard at work, doing her best to create a regular sized wallpaper that will be a compilation of all five widescreen ones. Stay tuned for more information!

I must say, I was actually scared it wouldn't be up to the FF7 standards, y'know, because I didn't want to ruin the images. Every one of these are soooo lovely! You guys always amaze me. These are sooo pwetty! I have the Tifa one as my background right now. :blush: Are you guys making one for other characters?

Regrettably, we're not making the widescreen wallpapers for the other Advent Children characters. Why? The reason why we picked these particular five were because Daeya felt that they were the ones most important in the movie.

But Daeya.org will have more widescreen wallpapers in the future. Rest assured of that. :amused:
