Makoro Oct 19th, 2004, 05:02 PM This is great! I've always been a fan of the turks (As a matter of fact, I have a poster of them in my room right now =P)
The shading effect you used on the characters is awesome, but perhaps you could work on the title in the top left section. (Just saying, there is no way in hell that I coulda made something this good, it's just feedback =P) ^_^
Daeya Oct 19th, 2004, 06:57 PM It's cool Makoro, because feedback is exacly what I crave :).
Positive as well as negative; they all help me improve
Do you have any suggestions about how I could make titles better?
Btw, I'm glad you brought that up, I suck big time at giving titles to the wallpapers. Sepcialy on what kind of font and color to use. hihihi, any suggestions will be taken into consideration for the future.
Thanks for commenting Makoro

I didn't mean the name of the title. I simply meant the font/effect.
The classic font made it look professional, but you should mess around and find something that suits the rest =)
But this is a little detail, may I remind you. It's like finding the microscopic decayspot on Picasso paintings; It's a minor detail for a great artwork =P
Jerzideva Oct 19th, 2004, 11:32 PM I think it's time Daeya started researching fonts and style a bit more. Though I'm not complaining about the title, the current font does seem to be lacking just a wee bit. Oh what the heck... I need a break from studying anyway. I'll help you look.

Well said... and even though if you find one or if you find something wrong with one of "those" arts, a whole crowd will defend it with their lives saying something like "it was meant to be there" or "that's the way it should be"....
Truly, art is something hard, see impossible to judge (except when it's plain ugly....but still)...
They should consider wallpaper making as good as any graphic design work (logo design, website design...)...or as painting!
Ar Sa Dec 7th, 2004, 02:17 PM Is it too late for feedback? Or it is never too late for feedback?
Anyway, I just want to say I agree with Makoro; the font seems lacking for the title in the top left. And the green, it kind of clashes with the rest of the theme of the wall.
However, that being said, I want to state that this is one of my favourite walls on your site! I absolutely love it.
There's also another picture of Before Crisis that features a lot more Turks in the same vein of drawing style. THAT would be another good wall to make, methinks!
Anyway, keep up the great work!
Daeya Dec 7th, 2004, 04:39 PM No Ar Sa,
it is never too late make a comment :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to do so :amused: I am going to try and improve the font and titles in the future
As for the image, I used the one you're talking about, i only cut out the rest because it was a little too crowded on the screen :toung:
Ar Sa Dec 7th, 2004, 08:12 PM Oh, is it that one?
Aww, okay... I was hoping there were a bunch of those images... not just the one.
But anyway, good cutting! I didn't even realize it was that one!
Rokit Dec 10th, 2004, 10:46 PM Nice wallpaper!! The wallpapers are really nice, thanks for sharing:laugh:
