I'm just passing by to do some forum maintenance, I updated a few things and decided to give a try to Thread Tagging. This will significantly improve search in the forum as well as adding metadata to the threads.

When tagging, remain objective, here's are examples:
Daeya.org Forums Popular Tags (http://forums.daeya.org/tags/)
Crisis Core Trailer Online (http://forums.daeya.org/showthread.php?t=2613)

You can think of, but not limited to:
What type of thread is it? question, discussion, news, wallpaper post, announcement
Who is it about? square-enix, sony, daeya.org
What is it about? trailer, scans, image, wallpaper
Who is it? cloud, sephiroth, daemonYou will be able to tag your threads and I believe admins can tag everyone's threads. I am still not sure, so experiment and tell me what you like/dislike.

I believe the tagging feature is useful, as you said, when it comes to searching the forums for specific criteria. It's obviously faster and much more helpful than using the typical search function we used to have.

I'll give it a try and experiment around . . . well, among the other features you implemented. :wink: This will certainly help me occupy my time. :amused:

You know, that's certainly going to come in handy. I spend quite a bit of time searching for specific threads when I have to refer members to certain posts and/or threads. This will definitely cut down the amount of time I spend sifting through everything.

One more thing, though not related to the tagging...
Thank you for adding the multi-quoting feature. Now that is something I look forward to using. haha
