I myself am obsessed with him :love:. I have been since Final Fantasy Vll first came out. I love everything about him. I guess the fact he's very realistic in my eyes and I can somewhat even relate. Here's some caps I took of him and I got lots more if you want me to post them.

Anyway, I think Cloud's probably one of the best hero's of Final Fantasy, if not the best. I don't know, even though in FF7 he seemed troubled and lost and didn't know who he was, etc. he still had the determination to go forward and find his past and stop Sephiroth.

In AC, I find his character design has improved even more! I'm not sure about whinier. He seems even more reserved and quiet, don't you think? And his hair's better, cause it's not crazy big anymore. It's actually a more realistic spikey. And he's just got this look that says he's travelled a storied past. Not much talk, but a lot of emotion that you can read off his face.

That's very true. I mean whiner by his mind seems to be consistently thinking about Aerith's. I’m not a fan of her…and it’s not by the fact I like Tifa and Cloti (CloudxTifa pairing)

So... because I’m not a fan of Aerith’s, it is a little nerve-racking to me. Like, I mean I understand he’s upset…he blames himself for her death…but seems from what I’ve seen almost every word coming from his mouth has got something to do with her.

(Spoilers...maybe)

Example: Vincent he said out of no where, do you think a sin can be forgiving.

Uhhhm... yeah, Cloud's always thinking of Aerith. But see, that's what makes Cloud great. Because he's not cold-hearted, he feels responsible. Aerith was a great person and throughout this whole ordeal she had to sacrifice herself. So there's no reason why Cloud shouldn't remember her. In fact, everyone does, with the pink ribbons.

I'm a CloudxTifa fan as well. But I don't really want to put my biases into my words. I mean, I like all the characters of the game, and wouldn't really want to outweigh on over another.

But in a way, it's realistic because of what's been going on, with what happened to Aerith, and the whole meteor situation, and now the geostigma situation. He's a responsible character, hence his great heroism, and therefore he puts the importance of the world and people before his love life; which I believe, he obviously loves Tifa. I mean, it shows when they were kids and how they interact, etc. But let's not go there!

Cloud is MR COOL GUY. I like Cloud, i think he's a really good hero and the best out of all the ff titles i think. I like his hair:tounge: What makes me a Cloud fan also is his personality....I like how he doesn't forget about someone who has died so easily and his lack of care when fighting the bad guys. I can see it in his eyes when he fights that he's sad.

Cloud is my number favourite character out of ALL characters in the world! And it's been like this ever since I was in grade 4 (and I'm in grade 12 now lol) never lost interest in that guy XD!! I was thinking of making it out of cardboard and putting black leather around it, the hardest part will be to get the lion thingy, but that's what i think how to make it. I found at eBay the whole Cloud suit from Pants to upper clothing, and they would make your size but the price.....um.....unh......ONLY, AHEM ONLY 250$ Let me say that again TWO HUNDERED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!!!!!

I do believe that is not the correct measurement for the full-size Buster Sword since the (scaled down version) sword that SwordsOnline.com has states that the overall length for that one is 49 inches. That one is, as I stated, a smaller version of the actual Buster Sword.

There is a possibility of that. While writing this, I checked with a ruler and that seems to be the case. 67 inches for the overall length - 12 inches (1 foot) for the handle = 55 inches for the blade. Yeah, that seems about right.

Damn.. This is going to be one heavy ass sword, especially since I'm thinking of using oak/cherry wood for this. Technically, I could use other types of wood for this but oak and cherry are known for their durability. Well, I guess I'll be spending some time at Home Depot! :laugh:

You know now that I think about it Cloud really is my favorite, brooding and all. He made a quite a first impression on me when he walked across the stadium in Kingdom Hearts I just knew he was a great character and that's before I knew anything about FF. Then when I figured out he was the same guy in the Advent Children trailer screen caps, I totally :love: him!
In fact I loved his look so much that I have made a custom 12" AC Cloud figure. It's not perfect but as I keep working on each head sculpt(considering his head was the first thing I ever sculpted) they are starting look better. Right now I'm making Kadaj, next will be Sephie, Tifa, vincent, reno as long as I continue to be inspired. You can see my progress here (http://www.geocities.com/starwars75/customcloud.html)

Lol! I already had my whole family making fun of how big the buster sword is already, and then the handle broke off so I had to renforced it and now I think it'll hold. :) Oh and I use Sculpty clay for the heads with acrylic paints and I buy the bodies off of ebay. The material for the oufits I can usually find around the house well especially for Kadaj's black leather outfit, since I had plenty of left over over fabric from my Tifa costume. So when I make the 12" Tifa we wil be twins! :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
