TIFA!! *points to my signature*

And yes, it's already set as my wallpaper. And no, it won't be coming down anytime soon. Unless another Tifa wall comes along, in which case I'll be forced to choose. :push:

But back on topic...
I love the effects used and how it seems to enhance the already colorful stained glass behind Tifa. The lyrics (or poem) used reflect the chaos (or "busy-ness") of the wallpaper. There's a lot happening there and it's almost as if each effect and each object is fighting for the viewer's attention. I also like how the flower petals seem to shine through all the rest of the darker colors, almost as if they're trying to make a statement.

And uhh... got a question, Daeya. Forgive my lack of PhotoShop jargon but did you "polygonize" parts (or the whole) of the wallpaper? Or is that what they call fractals? *scratches head in confusion* Mind you, it's a really nice effect. I'm just wondering what you did. :amused:

Sorry Jerzi, I don't understand what you mean by poligonize. If by that you mean the background, I used "one big main bg", and worked on each corner differently; to make it less boring. If you notice, there is not one corner that resembles another. I don't think their called fractals, not what's on this wallpaper. Fractals or abstracts are much more interesting to look at; they look like things you see under a microscope or in space :toung:

BTW, those flowing petals, they're suppose to be broken glass by some of my PS effects don't work (it crashes my pc everytime I try to use them) :toung: I guess petals will do :whip:

That's one really pretty wallpaper Daeya! Although all your wallpapers are nice too. :amused: It would take me 3 months to make one like that, or wait maybe 6 months  . I have no talent in making wallpapers at all but you have a great talent and your wallpapers are really nice.

From looking at the wallpaper, Tifa's mini half-cut dress looks like riples from lakes which i thought was really cool, the colors are nicely done mixed together to give it that illusion look. Only one thing, I have no idea what the words are saying? :weird: It must be concerning Tifa's thoughts of Cloud I'm assuming?

Thanks for the sweet sweet comment Rokit!

The lyrics are from a song called Désanchanté sang by Kate Ryan. It's a pretty popular song, and it's so nice to listen too. If you have a chance, you should download it.
Here's Kate Ryan's (http://www.kateryan.be/main2.html) website. :amused:

Here are the translated lyrics of the song:

Swimming in turbid waters
Of the following days
Awaiting here for the end
Floating in the too heavy air
Of nothingness
To who reach my hand?
If I must fall from top
Let my fall be slow
I only found rest in indifference
However I would like to find innocence
But nothing has direction, and nothing goes

CHORUS
All is chaos
At side All my ideals: words
Damaged
I seek the soul which
Will be able to help me
I am Of a generation
Disillusioned...Disillusioned

Who could prevent me
From hearing everything
When the reason breaks down
With which centre to dedicate itself
Who can claim
To rock us in his belly
If death is a mystery
Then life has nothing of tender
If the sky has a hell
Then the sky could be waiting for me
Tell me,
In these opposite winds
How could I win ?
And nothing has direction, nothing more goes.

On the wallpaper, I didn't bother looking for the french lyrics so there are some mistakes :push: I tried my best to translate the song as I thought it goes :toung: I hope it makes more sense to you now

Hmn, from visiting the site, is she a techno artist? Or not? The site isn't functionting properly for me, I click "discography" then nothing appears. I dunno. And the loading of albums is taking long.

From the lyrics, they are really nice words and i think it matches Tifa. I have to find more bout this artist. I gotta.

It takes a bit of time for the discography section to appear, and she's not exactly techno, more like... Ayumi Hamasaki type techno if you know what I mean...

The petals look more like glass than petals to me though...
I like how the effects you used make it look like water and glass, so she's breaking through glass, but it has splashes of water next to it too. The one thing I find odd is that Tifa's body seems oddly positioned; it looks like her body should be on the right side, but I might be confusing her body for part of the background...

All in all, it's an awesome piece of work!

Thanks Entranscend for the comments
I really wanted the wallpaper to look like she's breaking through glass :amused:
And for her body, I guess I couldn't do anything about it since that's how the original artwork was. :toung:
Thanks for the kind words
