As most of you already know, the Daeya.org staff keeps a close eye on these forums whenever we're online. We've given members a lot of leeway and cut a lot of slack concerning the rules but we have to draw the line somewhere.
The rules can be reached by clicking here (http://forums.daeya.org/announcement.php?f=5&announcementid=3). Please read through them carefully.
Clause 15 states that "Forum chatting is strictly prohibited. This refers to members answering posts as if they are chatting. If you want to chat, do it outside the forums on AIM/MSN."
As much as we enjoy seeing members having fun and interacting with one another, please refrain from chatting on the forums. This goes for everybody. Two or three posts by the same people following a train of thought, we can understand but when this train of thought spans several pages of chatting, then it's getting out of hand. There were several instances where we had lost track of the thread's original subject because of all the chatting going.
We understand that one thing often leads to another but if chatting really is required, there are messenger services available to such ends. MSN, Yahoo! Messenger and AIM are some of the more widely used ones.
As we've stated previously, please read through all the rules carefully. The rules are pretty clear cut. If you feel there are any gray areas, please PM one of the moderators and admins to have them explained.
We hope that you understand that the rules are there not to restrict your fun but instead are there to make the experience more enjoyable for everybody.
Sincerely,
Daeya.org Team
