Hell yeah! I'm a happy carnivore with some A1 and a piece of meat done medium well! ...My internal editor is telling me there's something wrong with that sentence, but my mind is a mess of numbers and randomness from work. I think I need a brainwash...What do you think Rufus ShinRa? Is there something not quite right about it?

Shhhhh, we do not speak of meat! Man, I'm reading this book called Animal Farma and now I think I'm going Vegan. I nice salad will do for me! OR COOKIES!! I think that's a fresh batch under my bed. Hmmmm, I need to find that Easy Bake Oven? Anyone got one, Keiko.

If it's a salad you want, that's not a problem at all! I also make my own dressing so I know exactly what goes into it. So pay attention to this, Shimmy!

• Take a bunch of romaine lettuce and cut off the head (the white part at the lower left). Seperate each leaf and wash them.
• Cut down the middle, cutting away the white stem. After that, cut the two halves into bite size chunks or strips.
• Fry up some bacon. Trust me, fry them up fresh and don't use the microwave ones. Don't be afraid to fry them up extra crispy. After that's done and they've cooled a bit, crush them up for bacon bits.
• If you have a can of tuna or salmon, open it, drain all the water, mash it up and mix it in with the lettuce.
• Take an apple or two, peel of its skin and cut them up into the size of a dice.
• Open up a can of corn, drain the water and dump it all in.

And now, for the dressing...

• Take a small pot and heat about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of olive oil on High.
• As that's heating up, finely chop up some garlic. The amount depends on you but at least half a bulb of it.
• When the olive oil is heated, dump all the garlic in, let it cook for about 5-10 seconds before turning the heat to between Low and Medium.
• Stir in about 2 to 3 teaspoons of honey.
• Sprinkle in about 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon of salt.
• Cut up 1 or 2 lemon. Squeeze the juice out of half a lemon into the pot. After that, mix well and taste the dressing. About 3/4 of a lemon should be fine.

And there you go! That's usually how my salads are made. Of course, I make them according to my mood and according to what I have at home. Most of the time, I'll change a few things add/take off some stuff and put something else entirely.

I know you're more of a meat person, Sephina but how does this salad sound?
