Doujinshi translation/scanlation help
HEY! This is probably posted in the complete wrong place, but....i really need some help!!
A couple of weeks ago, I bought a Reno doujinshi comic off eBay, although it said it came with a translation, there is none in sight!! I have looked for hours to try and find one, but I'm a very unlucky person and haven't been able to. And I'm too lazy to actually learn Japanese. I believe the comic is called "zero". If any one comes across anything that might be helpful, pretty please let me know?  Thanks

Oddly enough, I may know a way to get it translated...There's a thread on the Adultswim.com boards for translating japanese...Soundscrape might do it if you ask nicely in that thread...provided there's nothing "ecchi" about it, and it's written in standard japanese....If it's in romaji, that's near impossible to accurately translate...as they say there, "romaji is eeeevil"!
Though, if you bought it off eBay, and were promised a translation, chances are, they forgot to put it in the package. You should get in contact with the seller, and make them send you one. If they won't, leave snotty feedback that details their failure to provide what they said they would, and their failure to remedy their mistake.

Actually, Meowwl makes a very good point there. When dealing with sellers on eBay, the last thing they want is bad feedback. It brings their ratings down and it becomes a bit more difficult for them to sell/buy.
Get in touch with the seller and let him/her know that the promised translation wasn't included and that you would really like to have it. If anything, do as Meowwl said and leave bad feedback. haha |

Haha, I suppose that's one way to sort it out! I'll try both ways, however I'm not really sure if it's standard Japanese or not. But thanks
