The Vincent thread
There was a cloud thread and a reno thread, now there is a vincent thread too
 ...........I just think that vincent is the coolest charicter because????? i dunno i just think the whole demon thing is kewl. Also, he is silent and gentle and stuff he just kinda reminds me of um, well, me. i wanna be able to turn into a demon at will. dammmittt now im gonna cry

Vincent, Vincent, Vincent... What's there to say about him?
For one thing, he's the first Final Fantasy character to wield a gun. Uhh... right? Okay fine... if he's not the first, then he's the only one to wield it with such style! But I also like him for a multitude of other reasons. He's got such a tragic story, both because of what Hojo did to him but also because of his love for Lucrecia. I also find it kind of weird that he would rather entomb himself rather than go after Hojo for what the man did. I mean, c'mon! The mad scientist is ... well, mad.  As for his transformations... I don't think he could ever transform into the creatures at will. He had to be provoked until his breaking point before the changes would occur. If I remember correctly, it was because Vincent did his best to suppress his anger but constant provocation would dangerously shorten his fuse, making him more prone to transformations. |

Most of the times, I really have a hard time picturing him as a Turk. Sorry to bring up the Turks again, but Vincent was an elite himself. In FF7:AC, it feels and looks like Vincent is one of the rare person who could actually understand Cloud. Vincent is a wandering soul that seems to linger between life and death. A tragic story filled with both love and hate. I guess Chaos is the symbolic of all the rage that's contained in him.
He's very old [i'll get killed for this] which is probably why he's got so much experience and good judgement. A loveable mature character fille with mystery and much to know about. Thanks Saga for creating this thread. Do we need to write in red?

If I didn't have the primary Sephiroth obsession, Vincent would definitely be my favorite..He's a hell of a hottie.
Long hair, tall and skinny, but not weak..The whipcord and bone kind..and in that sitting on the rooftop scene..  onion buns!  and oooooh the voice in the trailers  ok..time for another cold shower!

He is very good looking indeed. Do you guys think he'll be appearing in Before Crisis? Since he was an ex-Turk?
 :Vincent must have one of the strongest fan base for S-E to choose him out of the many FF7 characters as a focus for Dirge of Cerberus. I just have a question, and I know it could sound pretty stupid, but is Vincent immortal or eternal? Because I find it very sad that he has to live with such remorse. Did the man ever smile?

I seem to recall that Tetsuya Nomura definitely said Vincent was NOT Sephiroth's father. That said, I do think that Sephiroth resembles Vincent much more strongly in build and facial structure than he does Hojo, both in the game and in the movie.

That would be kinda weird. But it would be more believable if Vincent was Sephys son, ya know his whole crush on Lucrecia, and her being his mommy!! I can see it now...
